So, there's is this thing. I spotted this at the MOE car park this afternoon while we were waiting to get a parking slot.

Apparently, Stephie has cleaned the glass walls of this thing and as a result, it's now crystal clear. Good job girl ?

After much thought, I renewed my premium subs to ToDoist. This is after I had stopped using the app little less than a year ago - 312 days to be exact. Going back in history, I had been using ToDist app since about 3 years ago. With ever increasing work projects and also personal stuff to remember & get on with, I'd need a robust application to get things done As you could see from all the tabs opened in the browser, yes, I configured a couple of automated workflows in Zappier application to integrate Todist with my O365 calendar and Google Sheets

Ravee joining me in evening walks, we moved to Canal Boardwalk since last couple of days. It is a much pleasant walking experience, even with high summer temperatures and associated humidity.

Yesterday and today have been extremely busy days at the day job. Whilst most of the yesterday was good busy, being with some visiting guests from a creative & innovative solutions company, taking them in various operational areas in the kitchen & getting home later than usual; today was mostly at door to door meetings. I have no problem either attending or facilitating meetings, as long as we walk out with some decisions taken and next actions agreed. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case of at least 2 of the 4 meetings that I attended.Oh, well… 1 meeting of course,had to be cancelled first thing in the morning, as most of the invitees from the kitchen did not turn up for the negotiations, for which the meeting was planned for in the first place. Disappointing indeed, specially because I myself arranged the meeting with lots of difficulties to get people together and a suitable meeting room. In trying to arrange the meeting, I found it was quite a task to figure out free time of the intended invitees from O365 calendar. I just can't understand why in the world Microsoft doesn't have a feature to suggest free or available time of people to make things easier in organizing meetings.
The only meeting, that was interesting and I walked out with some meaningful action was the one I attended with Innovation Lab about a potential technological project on smart trolley. I even got the meeting notes outlining what was discussed, agreed and next action points in email, by the time when I got back to my seat.

The temperatures here on yesterday and the day before was more than 48 Celsius and very high humidity too. As a result, I avoid my evening walk. But this evening it wasn't bad as last couple of days. So I did walk little less than 30 minutes. Apparently Ravee too wants to join me from tomorrow.

This morning I was driving to pick Daya up from the metro station and was actually driving very slowly as there are quite a few detours due to ongoing road works. But there were lots going in my mind about both work & personal stuff and while I was taking a roundabout, I completely slipped my mind to stop and look at the right side to give way, which as a result I did not see a SUV was actually entering the roundabout.Fotunately, in a second, I kind of woke up from all the things going in my mind and slowed down the car applying the brakes to avoid collision.I thanked god that, saving me from an accident that could've occured because of my silliness A lesson learnt I must give fully attention to what's going around the roads & traffic, when I'm on my wheels

The daughter is moving to her own rented accommodation, together with a bunch of her friends in September this year, when she starts 2nd academic year. So they signed for a house to rent in the close proximity to the uni. The thing is, since the deal was made, the real estate agent has been making errors in their house agreement, guarantor agreement and even in the payment schedule. Even after already making the 1st payment installment for the annual rent in April this year, their most recent letter sent to the daughter mentioned incorrect payment installements and dates, without even taking into consideration of the 1st installment she has already paid in this past April.

Thankfully, when she forwarded all the email correspondence earlier this evening, I went back checked the previous emails I had and requested her to clarify with the real estate agent, which she did promptly. And they replied back and saying that the letter they sent was incorrect" and confirmed receiving the April payment and also the next two payment dates as July 1st, 2017 and October 1st, 2017. Oh, well, it seems like we must thoroughly check correspondence from these guys and perhaps also file printed hard copies for later reference, if need be.

I can't understand why these guys cannot get their act together!

So here we go, the workout results for yesterday and this evening. I know, I have been doing only 30 minutes, since I resumed; but that's okay I think. The important thing is for me continued to be consistent. Actually, this evening temperature and humidity levels were much lower than it was yesterday.

I just bought the bullet and subscribed & upgraded my Ghost account to Personal tier short while back. I took the decision to upgrade after much thought and contemplation though. I really hope, Ghost is going to last for ever and I would continued to be able to pay and use it. When I say, use it, I mean I would have the inspiration to keep blogging, using the service.
On another note,today I feel much accomplished than any other Fridays in recent times. I'm glad for a couple of things in particular.

• Being able to clean the fish tank filter.
• Wrote a blog post about meeting Amith after 30 years.
• Went for Prayer Meeting after almost a month.
• Resumed evening walks, after a week.

In next couple of weeks, I might as well direct this site to my own domain and still keep it private for the time being.
I like the flexibility the Ghost has in that, users are being able to do a post in variety of ways on any platform. For instance, I'm writing these words on Ghost app on my MBA. At any time, I can switch to my smartphone and edit this same blog post.
On the smart phone, the Ghost UI is optimised to the phone screen which is nice and also has the same three columns lay out as desktop interface.

My site here on Ghost did not load at least for about 5 minutes and it was resolved by 2054. I hope this is just one-off.
