So, it was official departmental farewell for Brook Nomina earlier this afternoon. There was cake, tea/coffee & soft drinks, lots of appulase in the crowd. Lots of people gathered to bid farewell for this legend, who is retiring after 26 years of service in the company. There were two speeches - all good about BN. One was natural & unprepared without a script and the other was opposite. Both speeches were centered all good about & hunci-dori. That was true about the person. I've been very close to the entire episode how Nomina got attached to working with me about two years ago. One statement I can never forget the Cadmus said was " he's dead wood" . I have to say and one day some day, I will tell that person, No, you were wrong, I made that dead wood; live by the time he was retiring" BN, indeed did so well in the role he has been doing. I decribed my mate as "wit & humor, Spontaneous, Loyal, Awesome, Passionate, Patience and Crazy Busy! He IMOH he has always been!

All these corporate farewells are bull-shit! You'd be better without one! Signing offf!

I think a couple of months back I had cancelled the subscription here hoping there would be some enhancements coming soon to 10C, so that I could host all of my blog sites within 10C. For me, the main attractions on 10C are it's devloper being very approachable & responsive to queries,to be able to create almost unlimited number of blog sites, ability to be able to upload image & audio files and last, but not least it's affordable pricing model. Unforunately though,much anticipated enhancements haven't materlize yet, as expected. It's not because the developer is not interested; but becuase he has not been able to find time on top of his his commitements to his day job and other things.
After much thought, last week I thought, I'd give this place another try and sent email to people at Ghost Support to allow me here on trial again. I was quite impressed that Sarah from Ghost Support promptly responded back to me within 24 hours granting my request for trial for another two weeks. So, here I'm back on here, giving it another try, truly becuase I love it's plain white minimilistic interface blend with simplicity, availaibility of native apps for both mac OS & Adndroid and also the customer service expereince I have had thus far:)

We've decided to move from our current house. A couple of weeks back, we had looked at a couple of houses in the close proximity of our work place. Out of four houses, we saw we both liked the one we saw last. A two story house with four need rooms and nice little garden. We thought the rents are too high. Not necessarily, we can't afford to, but savings, after moving out from company provided accomodation and paying for all other things like water, electricity etc wouldn't make much sense.
Then, we looked at a couple of apartments earlier this evening and even they range from 115K to 130K. Now we are discussing the options we have and possible short listing from properties we have seen so far.

Mrs. just asked me whether I would be going to church this afternoon. I haven’t been to church since at least for a 2-3 weeks. With this intermittent depression , I’ve been going through since 2nd week of January, I haven’t really been motivated to do anything. Just been hanging around; except of course when at the day job, where I have a commitment to perform my accountabilities to best of my ability. The intermittent back pain which first started off with neck pain and visits to the doctor & Physiotherapy haven’t made life any better too. Everyday, I’m hoping that this too will pass. I’m really hoping so. And I am also hoping that I will soon be able to get back to at least a little bit of spirtuality!

Here i’m doing another recording using iPad app, being all alone at home. I’m rambling about how the month of January 2018 past by for me. By no means this is again no great quality of podcasting.

Here I’m my second attempt learning to produce podcasts. I recorded this while sitting in my favourite spot in the couch at home short while back. As I said while recording, I have to admit I’m no where near in production of good quality podcasts. Not yet at least. This time around, I used ear-phones that came with my Galaxy S7 for recording. After converting mp4 file to mp3 on the smartphone, instead of emailing; I uploaded the file to Google Drive, from where I picked up on the iPad to upload here.

I think, 10C and the technology available to us is truly amazing. Earlier this afternoon, I recorded a less than one minute podcast using my phone’s voice recorder while driving. Well, actually I pulled the car to curb side and stopped. When I got home, I converted the mp4 file to mp3 using a file converter app and email it to my self on Newton app on the phone. Then I switched to my iPad and accessed the emailed file from Newton app on iPad. Saved the file to iCloud Drive before uploading it to one of my other private blog sites here on 10C. Beside, emailing part, the entire process was seamless, which is truly amazing
