SuperGlue’s Random Thoughts

First time ever, since I left Sri Lanka, I was fortunate for being able to present for my mother's 85th birthday in Sri Lanka.

So, here I’m for the 1st time since moved overseas, being present with mom and sisters for mom’s 85th Birthday. We had a small celebration at our home in Sri Lanka. Incidentally Sumedha, Gamini and Ranganie, who had flown down were also present. Though mom did not particularly looked thrilled, perhaps due to her weak health, I hope she was psychologically happy; if not anything else, but because she had all her children were present, I hope. Earlier in the evening, Stephanie skyped to wish mummy Happy Birthday

Mrs. is prepping for her garage sale tomorrow. She's getting the stuff sorted to display at the garage sale. I like to think I did my part by washing & cleaning up the garage earlier this evening. Mrs. has also put in an ad online to attract people for the event.

This photo was taken earlier this morning when Shanaka & I were out & about on the tarmac. We were both, after long time did something together, just the the two of us - supervising catering loading onto a brand new aircraft to mark an important event of presidential visit to the aeroplane. The photo was taken on our 100th Airbus 380aircraft lounge bar in the upper deck.

I wish, we get to do things like this together even more!

After long time, going for dinner out on the dhow cruise for Nihal's kid's birthday party. It's bumper to traffic here for being Thursday evening.

It is that time that all of my domains lined up for renewal. I realized though, among all the few domains I owned, only this one has been used for something worthwhile. Rather than just keep paying money for domains that have never been used, I thought I let go of all the domains, but this one. So,the auto renewal for this one just went through the domain registrar yesterday. I also cancelled monthly subscription on Ghost platform, as except just a few brief blog posts, I really haven't been able to maintain consistency of posting there. So, why just pay unnecessary for something I hardly use…

Am very pleased that after about 3-4 weeks I worked from the Flight Kitchen entire day today. It all started being feeling gulity not being able to spend time in the Kitchen for quite sometime in this past few weeks. All in all I had a productive day for being able to complete some meaningful work. I walked around in Flight Prep, Bond Store and Equipment Store; talking to people who make things happen all day, every day. It was indeed great to being able to catch up with Bryan after sometime.
During my wlak abouts and talking to people, I managed to accomplished the following:

• Arranged working float stock count participation next week.
• Toy Bags replacements weekly report.
• Defective casserole inspection
• Recycling of bottled water.
• Request for verification for accuracy of CAT360 Planned uplift Report.

After completing one year in the Backet Court Uni accommdation, Noobcake and her friends rented a house in the local for their second year.
We arrived in London Gatwick on 13th September 2017 and travelled to Canterbury to help her out.
On 16th September 2017, After collecting the keys to the house from the real estate company, Jet dropped us at the property.Both mother & myself helped her cleaning & setting up her room, which was fun, I thought.

After completing one year in the Backet Court Uni accommdation, Noobcake and her friends rented a house in the local for their second year.
We arrived in London Gatwick on 13th September 2017 and travelled to Canterbury to help her out.
On 14th September 2017, After collecting the keys to the house from the real estate company, Jet dropped us at the property.

I'm kind of extremely exhausted having to chase people to get things done in the day job. It includes even simple things as getting responses to emails sent to certain people both inside & out side the organization . Most people don't seem to be interested to make things happen fast. Not too sure though whether I’m trying to be over concerned of making things happen fast and to perfection The thing is,in most cases, I am not able to move on and make progress on work related initiatives and Projects as a result. Lately, this has been making me stressed & frustrated.
