Late afternoon, just before end the working week and looking forward to the weekend another major screw up by people who don't keep up to their accountabilities, came along my way to find a fix - This time it was cardboard oven covers going zero stocks, which will have an impact, not only for service on board; but also safety of those who are tasked with delivering world's best customer experience on board.
Soon after I got home, I had to search for more information to determine best of cause of action to address the issue. In search of information, I found out the the info I had from August 2017 was out dated. Even the info that is published on FA's portal is out dated, I found out from the ODM. In end after shooting out an email to a co-worker, finally I received the most current version dated March 4th from him, which in the end helped me to communicate to my own team and a few people in the kitchen in temporally fixing the problem
After doing what I had to do to find a temporary solution to the problem, I dig into some of the email conversations people have over the past week, only to realize people who are accountable for making sure stocks availability knew of the depleting stocks of the said item. To be fair for them, whilst they seemed to have made efforts to get the stocks; they did not take an interest to keep people who should be kept informed, so that a solution could have been worked out earlier.
