Looking back, I hope whatever manipulation that I had to go through past few years, will not continue to anyone else in the organisation
@matigo Oh no internship this time. We will be going to SL in this coming weekend mainly for my mom's 3 months death rememberence
@matigo Yep I just had a chat now as she arrived late last night and we left for work while she was still asleep this morning. She's planning to go out for dinner with her girlfriend little later this evening.
I said:
- I've all this time and always believed in what he believed in supporting him any job given to me over last decade
- Never had asked for any promotion what so ever
- Have always obliged whatever work he had delegated to me, even if they were not preview of my role
- Have in the past performed some of the e duties included in the extended operations role in the new structure
- that I will be very upset that if he doesn't consider my request this time around…
@matigo Up date 00: though he still hasn't spoken to me formally, I got an opportunity in the passing to have a brief chat and he indicated he wants to put me for the planning role, which I deslike. I gave quick reasons from my knowledge, skills and experience that I can do better and contribute if I stay in current, but a bit extended role to which he responded that he will have to think about…
That said, am on the way to the kitchen with some UI/UX guys from IT in connection with the current project am working on.
As I shall be on vacation from this coming Wednesday, I requested him to have the conversation before that, to which he casually told me that he had already gave me a hint on what’s coming. I think he was referring to the passing comment he made soon after restructure was announced a couple of weeks ago about the new planning job, of which I’m not much interested..
Boss asked for a copy of my last performance appraisal and also recent psychometric feedback, to prepare for a conversation about the potential job in the new structure.
