For the 1st time, since my car was purchased about 6-7 years back, this morning a stupid drunken countryman hit my car in the front. He reversed his vehicle way too fast, while I too were reversing to park the car in the vacant parking slot at the grocery store near by. Though I honked the horn, he either did not hear or did not give any attention.
I was so shocked and angry that the guy argued with me as if it was my fault. He kept on saying that I should have honk he horn… It appeared that he was in a middle of a alcohol drinking session some where and had driven to the grocery store to buy some stuff. I felt sorry about the guy as he was not in his good frame of mind & sense, I did not want to call the authorities. Beside, there wasn't neither dent nor a damage to my car, except, it left a few scratches on the front bumper. If I had called the authorities, the guy would've been in deeper trouble for being drunk In the midst of shock & anger, it even did not occur to my mind to note down his vehicle plate number for any future reference!
