Have you search whether there are any EN like self hosted solutions that offer those two most important features you'd want? Why do you prefer handwritten to text convertion, rather than keep notes in handwritten format?

It's weird that since I got new iPad Pro & Pencil, I've mostly been using MacBook, rather than iPad. I seem to prefer keyboard to pencil.

I quite like FastMail's web UI than the native apps, though mostly they look similar.

Anxiety mostly creep in when I am not involved with any activity. Good reason to sit in the couch and hitting on the keyboard on MacBook right about now. Daughter is still asleep, while Mrs has gone out to volunteer at a church outreach activity.

Yep I am yet to find out a better journaling tool than Day One. Being able to use on various devices is certainly a big one for me.

When using EN standalone, don't we also granting access to our data to them? I learnt EN data is stored in the google cloud servers.
