I guess, I have the same problem too. So, am now very selective when I talk to people about any paid service :)

Okay. I'm pining your post for future reference if need be. Many Thanks

I don't know whether it is that or not wanting to pay. I have to say some people whom I have spoken to about FastMail, have even asked me whether I'm crazy to pay for email, when there are loads of free email services.

Good point. I might as well leave both of them with their preferences too :) In any case, daughter has just got an email account from her Uni on Office365

That said, I've seen lots of people are very comfortable with their free email accounts and very reluctant to subscribe to any paid email services. They don't seem to have any concern about privacy or security.

Yep, they are good; aren't they? Are you in one of their revised subscription plans? Was thinking of getting multi-user plan on own domain to cover both wife & daughter, but last time when I asked them, they seemed quite comfortable with their own hotmail and yahoo accounts :)

Yep, so far so good :)

FastMail seemed to have change their subscription plans. On renewal coming up in November, I will have to pay $10 extra, that will bumped up from my current 15GB to 25GB. I might as well renew the subs, since I've been quite happy with their product.

Got an email from the hotel that they received the postage containing SIM cards from the service provider

Received an email from GiffGaff that the pre-ordered SIM cards are on the way in mail. Hopefully, the hotel should receive it before we arrive, so we can activate the SIMs as soon as we check-in. Told the daughter to keep her HTC as spare/stand-by phone with a seperate SIM.
