This is good

Still Wednesday!

Just finished reading your Perspectives blog post. You’re right in saying the more comprehensive the Task Management app with all bells & whistles it takes more time to organize the thing, than actually get on with the stuff that needs to be get done. I’ve tried & even still trying loads of Task Management apps, both big names & not so big names; unfortunately nothing has stuck with me more than a couple of months. Not that, they are bad or anything, but too much effort to organize and maintain them, without getting too overwhelming.

Then, jotting down the tasks that needs to be get done on the next day, I’ve mostly been doing it in various ways, though I still haven’t been able achieve consistency. I very much want to continue the habit, because it gives some hope and structure to what needs to be achieved.

Thinking about Note taking apps, as much as I’ve been trying to maintain OneNote with all my day job related notes 1, over last few months, it has become a mess, that I can’t find my own notes, buried in various notebooks/sections etc. I wonder whether OneNote is too comprehensive or too complicated. One good thing though, as and when I type meeting notes in it, I can quite easily email them as PDF attachments to anyone via Outlook mail app.

  1. Mostly structured meeting notes/minutes

If all meetings & whatnot are completed, why not…?

Finally, sorted out a few emails, before going under the neem tree.

I think that's the plan, though no serious discussions has taken place yet.

Daughter has been rather busy with her lectures & getting prep for final year thesis, that she isn't available for video chat nowadays.

Mrs & I had early dinner tonight.

Just to be clear, there hasn't been any new things released on v5 for last couple of weeks; right?
