Slept most part of the day and just finished shower. Still don’t feel 100% all right.
@matigo Certainly; that’s a kind of role I’d be responsible for if everything goes well and I get the job in 6 months time. 1 There is plenty stuff to do in that area, in both process and systems & technology perspective, on top of people management of a small team of like 6 people. I’d also be able to give some input to product and service design on board

@matigo Here is the rationale of my decision
- I’ve been in the Ops role for last 2 decades - probably a change is good!
- Haven’t had much chance to think strategically, mostly due to day-To-day firefighting that come in my way.
- Had to work mostly work all by myself without being able to do much delegation as my team is absent workforce 1
- Haven’t had much opportunity to work with systems and technology

Mrs just brought one of her girl friends visiting here on a short transit from New Zealand for dinner on her way to taking for shopping
@matigo Did I tell you, my meeting with the boss this morning went well, at least in my mind. We did discuss about my personal development plan, goals and whatnot. What we did not discuss was about my career aspirations as he was kind of a rush to run for another meeting. In term of the roles in the new structure, after much thought, I did offer him to take up the role he had casually proposed - a role in planning as opposed to my current role in operations -
