@matigo Sounds like a similar dilemma I’ve been going through over the years. We seems to waste lots of time waiting for others to respond to emails of matters of importance.

Slept most part of the day and just finished shower. Still don’t feel 100% all right.
@matigo Certainly; that’s a kind of role I’d be responsible for if everything goes well and I get the job in 6 months time. 1 There is plenty stuff to do in that area, in both process and systems & technology perspective, on top of people management of a small team of like 6 people. I’d also be able to give some input to product and service design on board

@matigo Here is the rationale of my decision
- I’ve been in the Ops role for last 2 decades - probably a change is good!
- Haven’t had much chance to think strategically, mostly due to day-To-day firefighting that come in my way.
- Had to work mostly work all by myself without being able to do much delegation as my team is absent workforce 1
- Haven’t had much opportunity to work with systems and technology
