@matigo Not cool. Perhaps you need more email accounts🤪 Kidding aside, I actually prefer people use emails to communicate if the message is more than 4/5 sentences rather than sending me lengthy WhatsApp messages!
@matigo Indeed. The issue in the education system here has always been more focused on numbers and words - academia and not to bring up good citizens. In the end most of those what you learned in your school forgotten and never used when grow up. Movements such as Boy/ Girl Scouts have been trying to bring in more leadership and community service initiatives to some limit though
Most people here seems to start their day rather late and lazy. When they start late, everybody in a rush to get to their workplaces or whatnot. Everybody is impatient and in a hurry. This morning daughter’s transport vehicle arrived 10 minutes late. The driver then had no patience to wait even till the cabin door is manually closed and wanted to pull on. Then when people get late to their destinations they put the blame on traffic congestion on the roads. I always say, when you know there’s traffic congestion, you’d better bloody get your act together and start early!
@matigo Is it because generally communities are well disciplined or the authorities provide a superb service or both…?
@matigo Your guys seem to work hard to keep the city nice and clean. Here is completely the opposite- they never turn up on the days they are supposed to turn up - I think thrice a week! Some weeks they don’t even turn up a single day. Quite a nightmare, which I’d rather not rant about
